Tanzania can be visited basically all year round. Every season
has its own fascination and charm. From March to May there is the great
monsoon season when Tanzania will impress you with its delightful
green vegetation and you have the Lodges and the national parks almost
for yourselves. This time is underestimated very much. Our
recommendation, a visit in January or May and you will experience a
fantastic natural spectacle after the monsoon season. From November to
December
there is another monsoon season. The classical holiday season for
most tourists is December to March because the animals assemble at the
few water holes and therefore can be well observed. From June to
October the migration of the animals is in full play. WE can confirm
that Tanzania is a very safe country. We have many nice stories to tell
in the evenings when you enjoy the campfires.

Entry into Tanzania
With your entry into Tanzania a visa-entry fee of 50 US dollar
per person is due at the airport. This can already be requested at the
embassy in Berlin.
Time:
Time difference is easy to grasp and doesn’t cause a jetlag.
Tanzania is about two hours ahead of the Central European time (CET)
and in summertime about one hour. They also have their own calendar;
24.00 o'clock corresponds to the time of the sunrise at approx. 6
o'clock in the morning. We look forward to explaining this specific
feature to you on your personal safari.
Money & Credit Cards:
The national currency in Tanzania is the Tanzanian shilling
(TZS). The US dollar is the second important currency and is accepted
in the tourist areas with pleasure. Make sure you bring small banknotes
and notes before 2000 are not accepted. Of course the Euro is also
accepted with pleasure by now. Most credit cards are accepted at most
lodges and hotels.
Health:
For travelers from Europe there are no prescribed vaccinations.
We recommend vaccination against tetanus, diphtheria, typhoid and
hepatitis. If you visit the neighboring countries of Tanzania
beforehand, a yellow fever vaccination has to be shown.
Clothing:
The inhabitants of Tanzania pay very much attention to clean and
considerable clothes. It can be chilly at night and in the morning in
areas such as Arusha and the Ngorongoro Crater. You should pay
attention to hardwearing and bright cotton clothes. We advise you not
to wear blue clothes. Please, do not forget your safari hat and swimwear
for the pool.
Luggage and Equipment:
When you book a private safari for 2 people it is of course
possible to transport more than 20 kg per person in the cross country
vehicle. For more equipment and luggage please contact us beforehand.

the national parks to 07/01/2016. You can get more information here:

Prices and Accommodation:
It is not cheap to experience and explore the natural miracles of
Tanzania. For the lodges and camps it is costly to operate; besides
there are the costs for the national parks. Even a stay in the national
parks without luxury is not quite cheap. The prices on Zanzibar are
even a little higher.
Is Tanzania a safe destination?
Though Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world, it is
however one of the safest countries in Africa. For many years,
Tanzania is politically and socially grounded. Tanzania is a
multinational country with well-balanced ethnic groups. Tanzania has a
long tradition in the area of tourism and is well prepared for
tourists.
Shopping and Souvenirs:
Very much liked are arts and crafts made of wood and metal as well
as the colorful garments called "Kangas". Our recommendation as a
souvenir of this fascinating trip is a tanzanite. This rare and popular
radiant blue gem can only be found in a mine near Arusha in Tanzania.
Pay attention to the clarity of the tanzanite, the higher the blue
violet portion the more valuable, the best to buy is the rating AAA.
One estimates that the occurrence will be depleted in about 30 years.
Only buy at nationally managed shops or licensed boutiques or shops. We
would love to advise you if you are interested.
